The kitty festivals,
BKCFoC CotC WCB, get relatively few links each week, currently running around 10 or so, yet Mister Linky over at the
Cat Blogosphere gets lots, somewhere between 30 and 60 on average
per day. How do we increase carnival participation?

I guess we've never understood exactly how the Carnival works. You submit a Sunday post done for the Carnival, or something from the previous week, or how does that work?
(My bean is easily confused.) ;-)
You submit, via BlogCarnival or email, any post or posts from the previous week, carnivals on Sunday, that you feel like. Except for Weekend Cat Blogging where you put your link in the comments and it is added. Carnival huckster, whoever is hosting, then puts together a post with all the links, comments re such posts, pics and the like. Check previous carnivals for samples. It's more personalized than Mister Linky.
My mom is so busy she can not keep up with CB or carnival or anything. I wish my mom could quit her job!

Having a job would be nice but understand not being able to keep up with the carnivals. Hard to keep up with multiple blogs too.
